|Keskus:||Estonian Agricultural Museum|
The Estonian Agricultural Museum is the central museum in its field in Estonia. It plays an important role in recording Estonian rural culture, agricultural production, ownership relations, agricultural education and research, and in collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting the respective materials. Agriculture, land ownership and farms have been an emblematic symbol of Estonians since the early 19th century. Land and rural culture constitute the main component and indicator of national memory and identity, even in today’s society.
The museum is funded by the Estonian Ministry of Agriculture, as well as from various projects and funds.
